Early Head Start

We are pleased to announce that Head Start of Delaware County has Early Head Start. We offer services to infants, toddlers and pregnant moms. The plan for the infant and toddler program is designed to promote the development of the children and to support their parents in their role as parents. The plan for pregnant mothers will be to assist them in accessing comprehensive prenatal and postpartum care along with all other required services. We will reach out to dads to provide opportunities for them to be involved, thus adding strength to the family unit. Services will be provided to a total of forty-eight (48) clients.

We will have a Center Based program that will operate full day. This will provide child care for eight (8) infants and sixteen (16) toddlers to qualifying parents. The Home Based option will serve twenty-four (24) clients for a combination of infants, toddlers and pregnant moms, providing services to any of the clients with the greatest needs.
